Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend To Headline Lollapalooza: Report

Official lineup to be unveiled next month

Though the official Lollapalooza lineup is still about a month away, rumors are swirling of four big names headlining the Chicago fest.

The three-day event will star Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and the Killers, the Chicago Tribune's Greg Kot reports. All three bands are Lolla alums. Other features include The National and The Postal Service.

If that's enough of a taste for you to invest in tickets, "early bird" passes go on sale at 10 a.m. next Tuesday, and according to event organizers, secret sale passes could be available sooner. Early bird tickets cost $200 for three days. Regular passes are $235 for the weekend.

Lollapalooza kicks off Aug. 2 in Grant Park through Aug. 4.

Last year's headliners included The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath and Jack White.
