Metra trains on the Milwaukee District West line were stopped Monday afternoon after a train struck a pedestrian, the rail agency said.
Train #2239 scheduled to leave Union Station in Chicago at 5:23 p.m. will not operating due to train #2242 being stopped near Roselle after hitting a person, Metra’s website says.
“The duration of this delay is unknown but extensive delays are anticipated,” the website reads.
