House Explodes on Chicago's South Side

No injuries were reported

No injuries were reported after a house exploded Monday in Chicago's Gresham neighborhood.

Two walls of a home at 9010 S. Normal Ave. collapsed around 9:30 a.m., Chicago Fire officials said.

The home appeared to be vacant at the time, officials said.

NBC 5 chopper images showed damage to a neighboring building as well. It's not clear whether anyone in the building sustained injuries.
