Halloween Turns Into Hilarious Adventure for Dexter Fowler

Dexter Fowler has a lot on his mind with Game 6 of the World Series coming up on Tuesday night, but he got involved in plenty of Halloween hijinks on the team's day off

Chicago Cubs outfielder Dexter Fowler was full of the Halloween spirit on Monday night as he took his family trick-or-treating, but he was also served a heaping slice of humble pie while he was out enjoying the festivities of the evening.

While Fowler and family were out getting their fill of candy and good bonding time, he came across a young man in a Cubs uniform costume. When he asked the young fan who his favorite player on the Cubs was, he got a gutsy and hilarious answer:

While being chosen after Anthony Rizzo isn’t the worst thing that could have happened, his night got even funnier as he continued to walk around his neighborhood in Chicago. He came across a few more Cubs fans who used the team’s uniform as a costume, and he high-fived them……even if the kids didn’t know whom they were celebrating with:

Maybe if Fowler and the Cubs can win the World Series he’ll get some more enthusiastic high-fives next fall.

The team was allowed to stay in Chicago on Monday to go trick-or-treating with their families, and then the players were encouraged to dress up in costumes for their flight to Cleveland for Game 6 of the World Series, which will take place on Tuesday night.
