Chicago Cubs relief pitcher, Kerry Wood, has been placed on the disabled list for right shoulder fatigue.
Wood received a cortisone shot earlier this week, missing the series against the Miami Marlins. Though this is his 16th trip to the disabled list, he should be recovered in 15-days, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Iowa lefty, Scott Maine has been called in to take Wood’s place.
