Bond Set at $200K for Man Charged with Shooting 2 Boys

The two victims, ages 13 and 14, were shot while playing football on Thursday

A judge ordered bond set at $200,000 for a 19-year-old man charged with the shooting two boys in the Far South Side Washington Heights neighborhood.

Police arrested Walter White and charged him with two counts of aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm Saturday morning, according to a police News Affairs Press release.

On Thursday, White allegedly exited an alley and began shooting in the direction of two teenage boys playing football in the 10800 block of South Eggleston Avenue around 5:25 p.m., the release stated.

The two victims, ages 13 and 14, suffered gunshot wounds to their abdomens and were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, according to police.

Witnesses provided police with a description and details of the incident and White was taken into custody a short time later.
