Autopsies Conducted on 3 Bodies Found in Winfield Home

Neighbors reported they knew something was wrong when they noticed a dog that lives in the home was left outside all night

Autopsies were performed Tuesday on three bodies found at a home in a west Chicago suburb as police continue a death investigation.

The bodies were found Monday in a home located in the 500 block of of Jefferson Street near Manchester Road in suburban Winfield.

Nancy Clinkenbeard, Clyde and Karl Clinkenbeard were found dead at the scene, authorities said. Each body sustained multiple sharp force injuries. The victims were 77, 76 and 55 respectively. 

Neighbors reported they knew something was wrong when they noticed a dog that lives in the home was left outside all night and had been barking. Another neighbor reported seeing two of the bodies on a kitchen floor before they called 911.

No other details were immediately available.
