Arrieta Takes Family Trick-or-Treating Before Game 6

Jake Arrieta had to go to Cleveland a day early for his start against the Indians in Game 6 of the World Series, but that didn't stop his young kids from getting into the Halloween spirit on Monday

Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta is about to pitch in the biggest game of his life on Tuesday night, but his family certainly kept things free and easy on Monday night.

Having already traveled to Cleveland to prepare for his start in Game 6 of the World Series, Arrieta’s family didn’t let a change of locale change their plans, as the kids still dressed in their Halloween costumes at the team’s hotel:

There’s no word on whether or not they got a bunch of candy for their troubles, but we’re not hesitant to admit that the kids looked positively adorable in their costumes.

Arrieta, who carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning of his last start in this series, will be hoping for a similar result on Tuesday night as the Cubs once again try to stay alive in the World Series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 p.m., and if the Cubs win they will force a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday night at Progressive Field.
