Authorities released the 911 calls following a porch collapse in Tinley Park Saturday evening.

A group was on the deck of the home in the 16700 block of Beverly Avenue when it collapsed. At least nine people were hospitalized and others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

On the first 911 call reporting the incident, an out-of-breath woman named Jeanette Chastain tells the dispatcher that up to 35 people were on the deck celebrating a birthday party when the collapse occurred.

Officials are investigating whether the collapse was caused from overcrowding or structural issues with the deck.

A combination of adults and children were on the deck at the time of the collapse.
