3 Injured, 2 Critically, in Stabbing on Chicago's South Side

Three people were injured, two critically, in a stabbing on Chicago's South Side early Saturday, according to police. 

Officers responded to a call around 7:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of South Cottage Grove Ave in the city's Oakland neighborhood, authorities said. 

They arrived to the three-building gated community to find three victims with stab wounds, according to police. 

A 46-year-old woman was in critical condition with wounds to the head, bicep and chest, officials said. A 41-year-old man was in critical condition after being stabbed in the neck, according to police, a 36-year-old man was listed in fair condition with stab wounds to the face.

All three victims were taken to Stroger Hospital, according to police, who described the incident as domestic in nature. 

One offender was taken custody, according to police, and charges are pending.
