Standout Race: Kimetto became the fastest man to ever run a marathon when he won the Berlin Marathon in 2014 (2:02:57). Although fellow Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge beat Kimetto's record earlier this year at a race in Italy, Kimetto still holds the world record due to a pace-setting technicality. 

More About Dennis Kimetto: Kimetto posted a remarkable time of two hours, three minutes 45 seconds at the 2013 Chicago Marathon.
