Sales of Cat's Heavy Equipment Fall 27%

(AP) — Caterpillar Inc.'s global machinery sales fell 27 percent in February, the third straight month of declines as the economic downturn erodes demand for heavy equipment such as trucks, bulldozers and pipelayers.
