NBA Game Summary – Washington at Chicago

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Luol Deng had 26 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 117-110 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Larry Hughes had 24 points and Ben Gordon 21 for the Bulls, who are still 2-3 over their last five games. Andres Nocioni ended with 19 points and Derrick Rose 15 and eight assists.

Caron Butler logged 27 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Wizards, who have dropped three straight and five of six overall. Antawn Jamison tallied 23 points and 12 boards in defeat.

The Bulls opened up a 15-point lead midway through the fourth frame, but the Wizards used an 11-0 run to get back into it.

Butler and Juan Dixon accounted for nine of the points and Jamison's layup closed it out with 2:34 showing on the clock to make it a 102-98 game.

Drew Gooden, though, tallied a three-point play to make it a seven-point affair and Washington got no closer than five points the rest of the way.

The Wizards crafted a 25-24 lead after the first quarter but the Bulls came back for a 57-52 lead at the break.

As the Wizards got within a point, the Bulls rattled off 10 straight points to assume a 79-68 lead. Nocioni started it off with a three and then added a layup before Deng gave a layup of his own and Gordon capped it with a three.

Chicago led 88-74 heading into the fourth quarter.
