Andy Warhol is famous for pioneering the pop art movement, and decades after his death, he is still being remembered for his cutting-edge style
Starting Wednesday through Dec. 19, the W Chicago Lakeshore is displaying an exhibition that takes a look at one of the famous artist's commercial campaigns.
Whiskey Sky, located on the 33rd floor of the hotel, will feature "Warhol's Take on Taste," a series of advertisements Warhol created when he was commissioned by Martini & Rossi to help promote vermouth cocktail usage.
Whiskey Sky has also put together a series of Warhol-inspired cocktails that will be available during the exhibit's run. Visitors can enjoy the Celebrity Crush, Bohemian Cocktail, Pop Art 'Tini, Velvet Edie, Factory Martini, and Warhol Manhattan. (Click here for recipes)
A cocktail reception to celebrate the opening will be held on Wednesday Nov. 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
To add to the Warhol-inspired theme, there will be a photo booth set up to take Warhol-style photos as souvenirs. After all, everyone deserves their 15 minutes of fame.
