Sometimes nothing speaks louder than a spa treatment. That's the thought behind "Love You," the fourth annual month-long event featuring discounted services at various spas and salons throughout the city and suburbs in honor of National Heart Month. PrettyCity.com, a Chicago-based national beauty, wellness and lifestyle Web site, and The Heart Truth, a national awareness and prevention campaign in the fight against heart disease, partner together in this national endeavor through February.
More than 80 of the area's top spas, salons, medspas and wellness destinations will offer an array of $59 fixed-price treatments, featuring everything from indulgent hot stone massages and manicures to microdermabrasion, laser hair removal and Botox. Other pampering offers include yoga and dance classes, acupuncture, dental appointments, nutrition and weight loss services and skin care consultations.
The nationwide "Love You" campaign is taking place through Feb. 28 at more than 100 spas and salons in Chicago, Milwaukee, Colorado, New York, Orange County, Orlando, Pennsylvania, South Florida, St. Louis and Tampa Bay. To find a participating salon, click on www.prettycity.com/love.
