Early times, yeah, but our Cubbies aren't exactly off the the greatest start this season. Even stalwart fans seem to be defecting, as attendance at Wrigley for the first month of the season has reportedly been down quite a bit from last year's levels. As a little incentive to take yourself out to the ballgame a bit more often, the Cubbies are offering a pretty sweet deal on Tuesdays: starting May 10, select beers for fans sitting in the bleachers will run you a cool $3, Chicago Breaking Sports reports. To further sweeten the pot, bleacher-bound attendees will get $1 hotdogs on Wednesdays, and from May 30 on, a Monday bleacher ticket comes packaged with a special t-shirt. Still, it's the cheap beer we figure is the biggest enticement; after all, it's far harder to drown the sorrow of another Zambrano wobbler with encased meat than an icy brew.
