CARA Holds 35th Anniversary Party This Saturday

If you're a runner in Chicago, you probably know the name CARA. The Chicago Area Runners Association is one of the most prominent non-profit running organizations around-- the largest in the Midwest and third largest in the country. With more than 8,600 members, their reach is far and wide and they advocate for the running community through training programs and race circuits for all levels.

Founded in 1978, this weekend marks their 35th anniversary, and they're celebrating in style. Join the rest of the Chicago running community at the "Stride for Stride" celebration at the Willis Tower from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. this Saturday, November 16. The evening promises dinner, cocktails, mingling and more. Special guests include Hal Higdon, avid marathoner and author of over 36 books, and Carey Pinkowski, Director of the Chicago Marathon.

Tickets are $75.00 for CARA members and $95.00 for non-members. Purchase tickets here, and for more information, check out their website or call 312-666-9836.
