Sure Halloween is getting all of the buzz this week, but there was plenty else going on in the CHI. Can you say fashion and shopping? Some things never get old.

Introducing Zara
The big sign has been teasing us on the Magnificent Mile all summer, and Wednesday we got our first glimpse at the new Zara at 700 N. Michigan. This behemoth clothing retailer has stores all over the world, and it's surprising it's taken them that long to reach Chicago, but what the heck, better late than never, right? The line stretched down the block as shoppers waited to get the first glimpse at the goods. And what did they find? Stylish trendy looks that are pretty easy on the wallet. Sounds like that lunch hour just got a little more expensive.

Trick or Teet?
We couldn't let the entire evening go by without a little taste of Halloween, so leave it to us to find the smutty version. OffOffBroadwayz, an all-female musical sketch comedy troupe is far from family fare. The show has a burlesque feel to it, but while the jokes are raunchy, you won't see any actual teets. Friday was the last chance to check out their Halloween show at Fizz Bar, but look for more boobtastic fun in the future.

Ootra at The Underground
Debbie Jagel is a -- how should we say this -- a "unique" woman. But the owner of the new Ootra luxury handbag store in the 900 Shops knows what she wants and what she likes, and that's your gain with her line of beautiful pieces. The party was on at The Underground last night as they celebrated the launch of the store with a fashion show and reception. We had to check out before midnight, but it's safe to guess that the oontz, oontz, ootra was blasting until the early morn'.
