Wheeling Woman Named “The Biggest Loser”

Danni Allen lost 121 pounds during the competition

Season 14 of NBC's "The Biggest Loser" came to a close Monday evening when the weight loss competition crowned a new champion, and the winner was a woman from the Chicago suburbs.

Danni Allen of Wheeling weighed in at 137 pounds, enough to earn her the title The Biggest Loser.

"I didn't know that my dreams were possible, and I finally feel like my dream's come true," Allen said on the final show before her final weigh-in.

The 26-year-old started the competition at 258 pounds. She said the journey has been about more than just losing weight.

"I feel whole again and it just took clearing out all that mental stuff that I had going on to get to this place," she said.

In addition to her new figure and outlook on life, Allen also will receive a $250,000 prize.
