Democratic gubernatorial candidate JB Pritzker has a double-digit lead over Governor Bruce Rauner, according to a new poll released Thursday night.
The poll, conducted by the Illinois Broadcasters Association, shows Pritzker with a 17-point lead over Rauner. Pritzker, a Democratic businessman who won the party’s nomination earlier this year, is polling with 44 percent of the vote, and Rauner is currently running in second at 27 percent.
State Senator Sam McCann is running in third at 6.4 percent, and Liberterian activist Kash Jackson is in fourth at 4.3 percent.
According to the poll, more than 12 percent of likely voters remain undecided in the race.
The IBA poll also gleaned data on the race for Attorney General, with State Senator Kwame Raoul currently leading Republican attorney Erika Harold by nearly 12 points.
The poll says that 20 percent of voters remain undecided in the race to replace Lisa Madigan, who will leave the post in 2019.
