The Chicago Blackhawks have placed forward David Kampf on injured reserve as he deals with a right foot injury.

Kampf, who has three goals and 13 assists in 50 games with the Blackhawks this season, suffered the injury last week and has missed several games due to the ailment.

The move was made retroactive to Feb. 5, the team announced in a press release.

The Blackhawks have already called up a 13th forward for the roster, as Dylan Sikura was recalled earlier this week. Sikura played against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, but didn’t register a point or a shot on goal in the 6-3 loss.

The Blackhawks will begin a three-game homestand on Thursday night when they welcome the New Jersey Devils to the United Center.
