Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Henri Jokiharju will miss Thursday's game against the Winnipeg Jets due to an illness, the team announced.

Jokiharju, who has 10 assists so far this season, also missed Tuesday's game against Vegas due to the ailment, but it appeared he would make his return for the divisional showdown with Winnipeg before he was abruptly ruled out before the contest.

Jokiharju will have missed three of the Blackhawks' last four games, as he also missed last Friday's game against Tampa Bay as a healthy scratch.

Jan Rutta and Brandon Manning will both be in the lineup for Jeremy Colliton's squad, with the puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
