Allen Robinson Not Expected to Play for Bears vs. Jets, Report Says

One of the Chicago Bears’ biggest stars was listed as questionable for the team’s game against the New York Jets on Sunday, and according to a report, they will be without a key offensive contributor.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bears are not expected to have wide receiver Allen Robinson II when they take the field Sunday. Robinson, who missed two practices this week with a groin injury, was a limited participant in practice, but will likely miss the game against the Jets.

Linebacker Khalil Mack was also listed as questionable on the team’s injury report, but his status is uncertain.

In six games this season, Robinson has caught 25 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns. In the team’s Week 7 loss to the New England Patriots, Robinson was targeted five times but only caught one pass for four yards in the contest.

An official determination will be made on Robinson’s condition prior to the game.
