Courtney hails from Grayslake, Illinois and attended college at Indiana University. Before joining NBC Chicago she built her experience covering stories in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Rockford Illinois.
She is proud to serve the Chicago community and is always looking for story ideas that shine a light on important issues and inspiring individuals.
