Chinese Valentine's Day falls on Aug. 26th -- in case you were wondering.

Guys have learned to come to grips with the fact that we've hardly recovered from the Christmas craziness before Valentine's Day is staring us in the face. And we're still not even sure what the hell Sweetest Day is all about. And now we find out that next week is ... Chinese Valentine's Day?

If your gal happens to catch wind of this and you want to do something more unique than some quick takeout from Chinatown, may we suggest the deal over at Italiasia Restaurant.

The newish spot inside the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza is offering a special romantic dinner for two pre-fixe menu. For $60 a couple, you get an appetizer, entrée, dessert and bottle of sake.

Choose from items such as Lobster Salad, Miso Chicken or Teriyaki Sea Bass, Ricotta Cheesecake and Spumoni and Wonton Cannoli, just to name a few.

We also suggest getting a before or after dinner drink at Cityscape Bar, which offers some of the best views in the city.

Oh, and by the way, Chinese Valentine's Day falls on Aug. 26th -- but of course, you already knew that.
