Give your golf game some color.

Bust your clubs out of hibernation this Monday, Aug. 3 at the 26th annual Cosley Classic Golf Outing.

The day-long affair will take place at Arrowhead Golf Club in west suburban Wheaton, a perfect getaway for a summer Monday, if you can -- ahem -- swing it.

The event will benefit the Wheaton Park District's Cosley Zoo, a free facility that is home to native Illinois wildlife and domestic farm animals that live on the park's five bucolic acres. In honor of this "where the wild things are" theme, prizes will be awarded to golfers sporting the Wildest Attire, Craziest Pants, Best Themed Outfit and Best Dressed Team (as if you needed a reason to pull out your loudest golf attire).

The day will kick off at 8AM with a continental breakfast and check-in, continuing at 10AM with a shotgun scramble tee-off and 18 holes of golf. Lunch will be served for golfers from 11AM-3PM. An hors d'oeuvres reception will get the evening festivities off to a tasty start at 4PM, followed by a seated dinner, awards, raffle and auction at 5PM.

The costs to participate in the Cosley Classic Golf Outing are $125 per person or $35 for the dinner only.
