On Saturday, September 12 at the Harris Theatre, Wade and some of his closest “celebrity pals” will judge the D. Wade’s Chicago has talent competition, and one of fourteen local talent acts will win an all-expense paid trip to Dallas for the 2010 All-Star weekend - and the opportunity to perform at an All-Star Luncheon.
But if you’re just not talented or have no interest in watching other people flub on stage, this is only one of several events the star will be participating in this week. You’ll also be able to catch him on Thursday Sept 10, when Wade will host the “Carnival Cruise Lines Benefit Dinner” at the W Chicago City Center.
Then on Friday, you can watch – and bowl – with Wade at the 2nd Annual Bowling Event at 10 Pin Bowling Lounge. And on Saturday during the day, the Wade’s World Foundation’s 2nd Annual Youth Summit at the UIC Center is happening.
This year will mark the third year that Wade has held the popular charity weekend of events in Chi-town to help raise money for his Wade’s World Foundation.
