People who say size doesn't matter are usually just jealous because they don't have any. Because that's one of the things that makes Lollapalooza the best music festival around -- its sheer size. Just about any type of band you can think of can be found somewhere during this three-day musical orgy. This festival has always been fiercely independent of the mainstream since its 1991 inception, and many of the bands still have their own eclectic, niche audiences. Lollapalooza actually stands for a "remarkable or wonderful thing," and once you experience those three days in Grant Park, you'd be hard-pressed to disagree.

- Scott House Musik Fest - the "Chosen Few" DJ's house party, better known as the "Old School Party"... was a hit this weekend. If you're not from the Southside, you wouldn't known there was a blast from the past (house muzik) going on near the lakefront. It won't get the same recognition as any group that Lincoln Park would want to go see, but it had the same draw.
