Save the crying over spilt milk line.

A three-vehicle crash in Rolling Meadows Saturday caused a milk truck rollover that left two people hospitalized.

Daniel Heidtke, 22, was trying to cross lanes to exit off Route 53 in his SUV, forcing another car to swerve to avoid a collision, an Illinois State Police spokesman said.

The second vehicle, a Mazda, then hit the milk truck, the driver lost control and the vehicle tipped over on its ride side.

The milk truck and Mazda drivers were taken to an area hospital, police said.

Heidtke was cited for improper lane usage.
