The folks who brought us Body Worlds -- in which corpses are stripped of skin, "Plastinated" and then posed or had parts removed for display -- are about to go there.

Gunther Von Hagens and his wife Angelina Whalley have a new show on the drawing board "dedicated solely to dead bodies having sex," Reuters is reporting.

"It's not my intention to show certain sexual poses," Whalley told Reuters. "My goal is really to show the anatomy and the function."

Von Hagens' exhibit Body Worlds & the Brain -- Our 3-Pound Gem: The Original Exhibition of Real Human Bodies is currently on display at the San Diego Natural History Museum.

The new show may open next year, Whalley told Reuters.

The Cycle of Life show that is currently on view in Germany has drawn fire for an exhibit displaying two corpses posed in a sexual position, according to Reuters. Critics there called it "revolting" and "unacceptable," the news agency reported.
