Is it a fan with a grudge or just plain vandalism?

A 10-foot-tall Cubs-themed rocking chair that was on public display in the Village of Oak Lawn was damaged last week.

It was a few yards away from a chair with the White Sox logo, which was unharmed.

The chairs were painted earlier this summer by local grade school students, local business people and professional artists to commemorate the village's centennial celebration.

The chair has been repaired, and the village is offering $500 for information that leads to an arrest.
