Sources say Marmol would not veto a trade to a contender.

The Chicago Cubs appear to be looking to move their closer before Opening Day.

ESPN reports that the Cubs are talking to several teams about trading for Carlos Marmol.

League sources say the Detroit Tigers appear to be the frontrunner.

Marmol will make close to $10 million this season, the final year of his contract.
