On the surface, funnyman Vince Vaughn and conservative commentator Glenn Beck seem like unlikely bedfellows, but the two appear to have found some synergy for a new reality show.
Beck's media company, TheBlaze, is teaming up with Vaughn's Wild West Productions to launch a show called "Pursuit of the Truth."
The reality series seeks to find the next great documentary filmmaker. Twenty filmmakers will set out to prove to a panel of judges that they should win the grand prize -- financing and distribution of their project.
Producers behind the project say the series is a way to shed some light on an art form that is "struggling to survive in this media environment."
The nine episode series is scheduled to air in spring 2013.
No word on whether Beck or Vaughn will actually appear on the show.
