Vandals Throw Eggs at Chicago Agricultural School's Goats

Police say no arrests have been made in the case

The principal of Chicago's agricultural high school says vandals got into an outdoor animal pen and threw eggs at baby goats and leashed their mother with nylon rope.

Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences Principal William Hook tells the Daily Southtown that none of the goats were injured. He says it happened after 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Chicago police say officers responded to a school alarm Thursday night and found the door to the barn was breached.

The school has reinforced the barn door so it can't be pulled open. Hook says if vandalism continues the school will have to make changes.

Police say no arrests have been made in the case.
