The outcry since syndicated radio host Tom Joyner was taken off the air in Chicago last month seems to have helped the show find a new home.

According to blackamericaweb.com, Joyner's Dallas-based show will begin airing Wednesday on Soul 106.3. from from 5 to 9 a.m. weekdays.

Joyner was previously on Clear Channel's WVAZ-FM 102.3, but despite high ratings, it was removed to make room for Steve Harvey's syndicated program.

"You have spoken, you have written, you have tweeted and once again your activism has made a difference in a big way," Joyner said in a YouTube video.
