The Replacements will headline this year's Chicago Riot Festival Sept. 13-15.

The Replacements, a late 1970’s punk rock band, will reunite in Chicago to headline Riot Fest this fall in Humboldt Park.

The Minneapolis, Minn., natives last appeared together in 1991 at Grant Park when they broke up during a performance.

After numerous popular singles such as "Kiss Me on the Bus" (1985), "I'll Be You" (1989), and "Merry Go Round" (1990), The Replacements at the time said they grew tired of touring and knew the end was near.

Since disbanding, the group has been offered the opportunity to play ample shows including Lollapalooza, however the timing never seemed fitting for the members.

Riot Fest Chicago is a 3-day event on Sept. 13-15. Tickets are available for purchase on ticketfly.com and cost $149.98 and $249.98. The Replacements will also headline Riot Fest in Toronto Aug. 24-25 and Denver Sept. 21-22.
