Chicago's Old Town neighborhood may host The Second City theatre, but it's second to none when it comes to the best place to live, according to a popular realty web site.
Realtor.com named the Near North Side enclave 2012's hottest neighborhood in the country.
The list was compiled by tallying the most zip code searches on the web site and touted Old Town's "well-preserved Victorian-style buildings, fashionable dining scene, and its urban, pedestrian-friendly Near North Side location."
The full list included neighborhoods in two Texas cities, Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida.
- 1) Old Town, Chicago
2) Willow Bend Country – Plano, TX
3) Keller – Fort Worth, TX
4) Spring Valley – Las Vegas, NV
5) Stoneybrook – Orlando, FL
