Rain Moves In Overnight

Temperatures will drop Friday and Saturday night as more rains hit Illinois and the Chicago area over the weekend.

Chicagoans can expect a low of 67 degrees Friday night as thunderstorms linger into Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service Chicago has also issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Ogle and Winnebago couties from 6:22 p.m. to 7:15 Friday night, accompanied by a flood advisory warning from 6:11 p.m. Friday to 12:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

The temperature will rise to the upper 70s early Saturday, only to drop back to the mid 60s by the afternoon with the chance of scattered showers leading into midday Sunday.

Monday is expected to be dry, but that will be short-lived as the next system move into the Chicago area on Tuesday.
