Man, Woman Shot Each Other to Death in Gary: Police

According to preliminary investigation, the two were involved in a domestic dispute and shot each other

A man and woman fatally shot each other during a domestic argument early Thursday in northwest Indiana, according to police.

Officers responding to the home in the 5200 block of Adams Street in Gary about 1:30 a.m. found two people dead inside, according to Gary Police Lt. Thomas Pawlak. According to preliminary investigation, they were involved in a domestic dispute and shot each other.

Nicole Handley, 31; and 35-year-old Larry Bray were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.

Both suffered multiple gunshot wounds and their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the coroner’s office. Handley lived on the same block as the shooting, while Bray lived in the 600 block of Taney Street in Gary.
