A man was critically wounded Sunday morning following an argument at a jazz club in the Ranch Triangle neighborhood on the North Side.

The man, 20-30-years old, was shot in the abdomen and arm at 4:35 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Webster Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.

The shooting may have stemmed from an argument at Green Dolphin Street, a jazz club and bar at 2200 N Ashland Ave., according to a police source.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, Greer said.

No one was in custody as of 1 p.m. Sunday.

Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
