A shooting Sunday morning in the Little Village neighborhood left a 22-year-old man critically injured.
The man was reportedly getting into his car in the 2700 block of West 24th Place when he was shot in the face and back, officials said.
The victim was taking to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The gunman reportedly fled the scene and motive for the shooting was not clear.
No arrests have been made, the Tribune reports.
