Judge Rules Local Theatre Can Sue Porn Actress

Lawsuit Claims Jenna Jameson Failed to Show at Naperville Appearance

A DuPage County judge rejected a motion Wednesday to dismiss a lawsuit filed against adult film actress Jenna Jameson.

The company that owns Hollywood Palms Cinema is suing Jameson for failing to show at a personal appearance, The Chicago Tribune reports.

She was scheduled to appear at the theatre in conjunction with a showing of her 2008 movie “Zombie Strippers!” earlier this year.

The lawsuit claims Jameson blew off the appearance to attend a Hollywood party hosted by gossip blogger Perez Hilton; costing them thousands of dollars in advertising, ticket sales and other expenses.

Lawyers for Jameson asked Judge Patrick Leston to dismiss the suit.  They claim the contract between Jameson and Hollywood Theatre was too ambiguous, and the legal filing was technically deficient.

Leston found that the contract was clear.  the case is sceduled to be in court again in February.
