Investigators say Kelsky Patterson, 20, was positively identified as the offender in an Aug. 19 shooting on the 1000 block of W. Wilson in which five people were shot. Darius Oliver, 21, died after days of being on life support.

Patterson faces one count of first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated battery and discharge of a firearm.
