A pier at the Port of Indiana collapsed Tuesday morning under the weight of off-loaded cargo.

The U.S. Coast Guard's Michigan City station told the Northwest Indiana Times the pier assigned to ArcelorMittal, a steel and mining company, cracked and collapsed around 5:30 a.m.
