Firefighters in northwest Indiana responded to a “large brush fire” Saturday evening off Interstate 94.
The Hammond Fire Department responded to the blaze about 8 p.m. off I-94, between Indianapolis and Kennedy avenues, according to Indiana State Police.
It was not immediately known how the fire started or if there were any injuries.
