Dexter Fowler Hooks Teammates Up With Sweet Gifts

The Chicago Cubs held a workout at Wrigley Field on Thursday afternoon ahead of the National League Championship Series, and one of the players surprised his teammates with a remarkable gift.

That player is outfielder Dexter Fowler, whose surprise return to the team seemingly kick-started them on their way to an historic season. Fowler has an endorsement contract with Nike and is known for his massive shoe collection, and on Thursday he made sure that his teammates got a piece of the action:

In the caption for the photo, Fowler mentions a gift that Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price got for his teammates, as he too managed to snag all of them pairs of Air Jordans. Fowler clearly took that gift to heart, as he also decided to hook his teammates up with the new footwear.

When Fowler heads to spring training, he reportedly brings a large shoe collection with him, with 20 to 25 pairs of shoes coming with him to Arizona.
