Sex Offender Strikes Again

A convicted child sex offender was captured by Chicago police shortly after he allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted a mother and her daughter late Monday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Albert Robinson was charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated sexual assault.
Hot Dog Stand Shootout
Roseland
An armed masked man trying to rob a hot dog stand apparently didn’t see a uniformed off-duty Chicago police officer at another window and the two exchanged gunfire, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The officer was not injured.
Police-Involved Shooting
West Pullman
A Chicago police officer fired his gun at a group of six people who threatened him with a gun after he stopped a vehicle, the Chicago Tribune reported. The officer called for backup and five of the six people were arrested.
