Ald. JoAnn Thompson (16th) reportedly is in stable condition after she collapsed Sunday at an Englewood neighborhood music festival.
Paramedics were called at 7:55 p.m. to the festival at 63rd and Peoria streets, and Thompson was transported to Rush University Medical Center, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said.
Langford said the alderman was transported in stable condition.
It's not yet clear what caused the apparent collapse. Thompson continues to recover at the hospital.
