    John Carbonaro will be sentenced Feb. 19.

    A former Naperville North High School counselor pleaded guilty Tuesday in connection with a case involving a student.

    John Carbonaro, 35, was set to begin a bench trial but instead pleaded out to the Class 4 felony charge.

    Carbonaro was accused of an improper relationship with a female student under the age of 18, which involved inappropriately touching her sexually in his home in the summer of 2010.

    The incident was reported by a third party.

    Carbonaro will be sentenced on February 19.
