At least four people were killed and 23 others were wounded in weekend shootings across Chicago.
The most recent shooting took place at 2:50 p.m. in the city's South Shore neighborhood, police said.
A 23-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 7400 block of South Phillips Avenue, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition. The incident may be gang-related but details surrounding the shooting were not immediately available, Zala said.
Around 6:43 a.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of Komensky Avenue. A 33-year-old man was shot in the chest and arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
Less than an hour earlier, a woman was shot in the 4400 block of West Dickens Avenue. She was treated at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center where her condition is stabilized, police said.
Around 2:45 a.m., two people were shot in the 3100 block of West Fillmore Street, police said.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the wrist and a 22-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the forehead. Both were treated at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in good condition.
Fifteen minutes earlier, and 18-year-old woman was shot in the knee near 71st and Wood Streets. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition.

Someone shot at a car next to a gas station around 12:50 a.m. in the 5700 block of Fullerton Avenue, police said.
A 30-year-old man was shot in the knee and was treated at Our Lady Resurrection Medical Center.
On Saturday, a 27-year-old man was shot in the 2600 block of Wabansia Avenue in Logan Square. He was taken in stable condition to Norwegian-American Hospital.
Around 10:15 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 7900 block of South Francisco Avenue. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition.
A few minutes earlier, two men were shot, one of them fatally, in the 1000 block of North St. Louis Avenue.
An 18-year-old man was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead and a 24-year-old man was last listed in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the ribs, police said.
Around 9 p.m., a 16-year-old boy's head was grazed by a bullet in the 7100 block of South Sangamon Street.
He was taken in stable condition to Advocate Christ Hospital.
Two hours earlier, a 33-year-old man was shot in the ankle in the 2400 block of East 106th Street and drove himself to Advocate Trinity Hospital for treatment.
Police said a 54-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were critically injured in the shooting and taken to John H. Stroger Hospital where the 54-year-old man was later pronounced dead.
The 25-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the arm and a graze wound to the stomach and remained in the hospital Sunday morning.
The Chicago Tribune reported that 16-year-old man was shot around 5:05 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 74th Street, but Chicago Police News Affairs could not confirm this shooting.
Saturday afternoon, a man was shot around 12:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of West 44th Street.
The man, said to be in his 20s, was shot multiple times in the arm, leg and buttocks, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was last listed in stable condition. No further details were immediately available on the shooting.
Earlier Saturday, a 26-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks around 2:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Spaulding Avenue. She was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital where she was last listed in good condition, police said.
Around 4 a.m., a second fatality took place when a man in his 20s was shot in the 2400 block of East 79th Street.
The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Thirty minutes later, another shooting took place near Belmont and California Avenues, police said. A man walked into Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with a wound to his thigh but no other information surrounding the shooting was immediately available.
The weekend’s first shooting took place around 8:15 p.m. Friday when an 18-year-old man was shot in the 6800 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue. The man was taken to John H. Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach and was later pronounced dead, police said.
Just before 10 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in the shoulder near 38th Street and Wentworth Avenue. He was taken to Stroger Hospital and was last listed in stable condition, officials said.
Around 11:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the 1900 block of South Harding Avenue. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition with a wound to the leg.
Three people were shot in two separate shootings around 1 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Two people were shot in the 5800 block of West Irving Park Road. A 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition and a 22-year-old suffered a graze wound to the abdomen but refused treatment, police said.
At the same time, a 24-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the 7400 block of North Rogers Avenue in Rogers Park. The man ran to a nearby CTA station where police found him, according to police. He was transported in stable condition to St. Francis Hospital.
Just over an hour later, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the foot in the 1700 block of East 71st Street, police said. She was treated at Jackson Park Hospital and released, according to authorities.
